Current Obsessions for June

I’ve decided to venture down a new road and start occasionally posting things that I’m obsessed with at the moment.  I know it’s a step away from blogging about mommy things…but then again, it’s not really.  I feel that just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean that I have to forget about style and be doomed to wear nothing but turtlenecks and Lee’s ‘mom jeans’ with a ‘mom butt’.  Haha!

Trust me…I will fight to never become that kind of mom!

So here are my current obsessions…and by no means am I thinking of buying them and wearing them all at the same time.  That would be a total hot mess…and no, none of the pieces are supposed to go together.

1. Pink Parade Ruffle Dress by Ruche – $38.99
2. Bikini So Teeny by Essie – $8.00
3. Blue Chevron Tote Bag by Oktak (Etsy) – $68.00
4.  Tiny Silver Star Necklace by Roundabout (Etsy) – $26.00
5. Mac and Cheese Bread Bowl by Dominos

Um, yeah…that’s totally a Bread Bowl from Dominos at the bottom corner…I don’t have anything to say for myself.

As for everything else…the dress looks easy to wear and comfortable, plus it won’t break the bank.  Essie nail polish rocks hands down.  Chevron is everywhere…and who doesn’t love a dainty little silver necklace?

I don’t own any of those items yet (with the exception of having eaten several Bread Bowls already) but I’m hoping to soon!  Especially the nail polish!

I’m completely obsessed with nail polish right now too! I love the blue! I may have to give that a shot.

I just bought three neon colors the other day from Ulta…should be here in the mail tomorrow! I can’t wait to take pics and post them because you truly ever can’t have too many colors! 🙂 I haven’t been able to find that Essie color in any of my local stores since it’s been sold out. I just have to be patient now!

Haha! They’ve been around forever! And I’ll warn you, it truly does depend on who makes it. I’ve had amazing ones and then the last one I had was horrible since they didn’t mix enough cheese in it. 🙁 I think I might have to make my husband get one for me tonight now that I’ve been thinking about it all afternoon.

I have an obsession with not wearing mom jeans also! Never ever! And I have to add, Essie rocks! Topless and Barefoot is an amazing nude color!

Haha! My poor mother wore them while I was growing up (which she now has learned to wear pairs that are not ‘mom jeans’). I’ll have to try that color! I think I’ve seen pics of it on Pinterest so I’ll add it to my list! Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂
