My Last Day of Being 26

via

Today is my last day of being 26!

Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a whiny post.  I just saw someone the other day on Facebook complaining about getting old…and they had just turned 19.  Give me a break, lol!

Out of all of my years of life, this one has gone by the quickest.  And I think I’ve done a lot of growing as an individual.  I’m not who I was a year ago, but whoever really is?

I welcomed a baby girl and also celebrated my first year of marriage (and if you’re trying to do the math, I got pregnant with Mabel the month after I got married, lol!).

My new title is ‘Mom’, I drive around with a car seat in my Jeep, there’s always a spare pacifier in my purse and I don’t go a morning without coffee.  I’ve also learned that patience is a virtue…thank you Miss Mabel for teaching me that.

And now that I’m no longer a newlywed, my husband and I continue to venture into the land of happily ever after (with the occasional argument of how he needs to stop dipping). It truly has been life altering to see my husband as both my other half and a father.

So I say with great pride, “So long 26 year old Morgan and hello 27 year old Morgan!”.

I’m not growing older…I’m growing into a better me.

Happy Birthday!! I, too, will be turning 27 (in December) and I’m not in the least upset over it. Okay, I’ll admit, turning 26 was difficult because it put me closer to 30 than to 20 but….we all have our weird, scary number. Raegan was born in January, nearly a month after I celebrated my Birthday, and it was the greatest year of my life! :))

Happy early birthday! I’m turning the big 3-0 in Feb. and I’ll admit that I’ve shed a few tears already. I’ve been married for 8 years, I have an almost 7 year old and a 5 year old and darnit, I’m old! lol

Happiest birthday to you! I turn 27 next Friday, and this too has been the best year of my life…my son was born in May 🙂 must be the thing to do when you are 26

Haha! My husband and I got pregnant pretty much right after too! We got married on June 3rd and had our son on May 20th. So I got to celebrate my first anniversary all post-partum. Yay.
