Stitch Fix #7

It has been FOREVER since I’ve shown you all a Stitch Fix box!

I think the last one I showed was Fix #4?  So yeah, I’m slacking big time!

And if you have no clue what Stitch Fix is, I’ll give you a super speedy explanation.  It’s a fashion subscription service (which you can have delivered monthly or as frequently/infrequently as you want).  There is a $20 styling fee for each box but it will go towards anything you end up keeping.  You fill out a style survey to show what you like/don’t like, a personal stylist handpicks 5 items for you and mails them off.  You get to try them on in the privacy of your own home with other clothes/shoes that you own and then you decide what to keep.  NO PRESSURE to keep anything…I love that!  Keep the items you love and items that you don’t love…just pop them into the prepaid envelope and put them in your mailbox to head back to Stitch Fix.  Easy as that!  And if you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off the total price!

And FYI, my first Stitch Fix post has more info on it!  😉

Sooooo, let’s get to my #7 fix!  This time I specifically asked for casual, comfy clothes that I wouldn’t be afraid of Mabel destroying.  I think my stylist nailed it!

And I’m going to warn you that these are iPhone photos.  I was trying to get the photos taken while Mabel was napping so I didn’t have time to whip out the big camera/tripod.

This resulted in blurry photos…oh well.

I loved this outfit!  The top is really comfortable and surprisingly the jeans fit really nicely!

Top:  Natural Life Aleah Heathered Dolman    KEEPER
Bottom:  Sold Ritta Pull-on Bootcut Jeans    KEEPER

I wan’t really feeling these two.  I mean, I didn’t hate them but I didn’t love them.  The tank was too plain for me to want to keep and the cardigan was a little too old looking for me.

Tank: Ravel Aida Racer Back Crochet Top     SENT BACK
Cardigan:  Matty M Clifton Long Sleeve Cotton Cardigan    SENT BACK

I was really surprised by this dress!  On the hanger it didn’t look like anything special and I was actually dreading trying it on.  But then I did and I was really happy!  The stripes were in all the right places to have a slimming effect.  Score!

Dress:  BB Dakota Tula Stripe A-Line Dress   KEEPER!

I also wanted to include this pic of one of the tags.  The great thing about Stitch Fix is that they send you photos along with each item of clothing to show you multiple ways that you can wear the piece.  I find this to be really helpful!

If you want to sign up, you have to take a mini survey first and then they’ll email you when there is a spot available to join!  I don’t think there is a long wait.  🙂  This is my link if you’d like to use it:  Try out Stitch Fix.

And be sure to checkout all my other Stitch Fix posts here :)

Have you gotten a Fix yet?  I’d love to hear what you thought!  Leave the link to your post too…I’d love to see your photos!

Hi Jess! 🙂 Thanks for such a nice comment! I just have to find somewhere to wear the dress! Stitch Fix has been having a lot of success so it wouldn’t surprise me if in the near future it opens to Canadians! I would email them and let them know!

I just got my first Stitch Fix box last week and they sent me the same dolman sleeve top and I love it! I would have never picked it out in a store but I loved it the second I tried it on. I’ve worn it twice already! :). Love Stitch Fix!

Yay! Did you get the same color? I know they have that top in a few different colors…I love the gray that I saw. And what else did you get in your box??

I received that dolman top also. Same color, too. I kept it and have already worn it three times! It looks great with dark wash skinny jeans and also black pants.
