Craft Room Organization with Rubbermaid!

Some of you might remember last summer when I tackled the craziness in Mabel’s closet and was able to tame it with Rubbermaid’s All Access Organizers (click here to see before and after pics). I loved them…and I still do! So when I was asked to try out their new extra small organizers, I couldn’t say no!

It’s no secret that keeping organized isn’t easy for me so anything that I can get a hold of that will help me out is something I consider to be a blessing. I’ve made a promise to myself that when me move this summer it will be a fresh start and organization will be a priority when we get to our next destination. But in the meantime, I’m trying to start better organizational habits! 😉

I bought my Rubbermaid All Access Organizers at Home Depot and it was super easy since I used their online shopping option. I found everything I needed on their website, checked out, chose the ‘pick up in store’ option and bam…within hours it was ready to be picked up at our local store in Dover (great since I was running errands and could just swing by).

Look at the note that was left on my order:

I love stuff like that since I feel like the management in the store really cares about your shopping experience whether it’s in store or through online purchases.

With the All Access Organizers safely home with me, I had to figure out where I’d like them. They’d work in the closet (they are perfectly sized for shoes!), under the bathroom sinks, and in so many other places but I chose to overhaul my craft room. I figured it would be a great place to start since we’ll be listing our house on the market in the upcoming months and I wanted to give everything a neat appearance.

Here’s the before (it’s kind of embarrassing):

Now, it’s not my dream craft room but we all have to start somewhere right? You gotta work with what you got!

I easily peeled the labels off the tubs and used them to organize my craft supplies. Everything fit neatly and I think they gave my storage area a more streamlined appearance.

Here’s the after:

And let me tell you the neatest part about these organizers. There are two ways to access the contents of your organizers: through the top like standard plastic totes and through a front access panel!

You can see that I took full advantage of using the storage space on my shelves. By placing items on top of the Rubbermaid organizers I can store more things and am also able to easily access the items inside the organizers without removing what I have on top of them.

I think it was a success! 😉 I see more organizing in my future!

Open up the possibilities of easy access with Rubbermaid® All Access™ Organizers. The All Access™ line features a clear drop-down door so you can easily see and retrieve the items you want, even when they are stacked! Visit your local Home Depot to see why organization just got easier!
