The Ultimate Greek Yogurt Taste Off

Today’s post is sponsored by Yoplait but all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own!

Yoplait vs Chobani #TasteOff

I was recently approached by Yoplait to join their yogurt ‘Taste-Off’ and being that Greek yogurt is a favorite of mine, there was no way that I was going to turn it down!  The rules were simple, purchase Yoplait’s Greek Blended yogurt in blueberry and also buy Chobani’s Greek Blueberry Fruit on the Bottom yogurt.  Then taste test them and report back with my honest opinions.  Simple enough.

I figured I would get Mabel in on the ‘Taste Off’ too since she is quite the connoisseur of Greek yogurt these days.  Lol!  She honestly eats a Greek yogurt every day which is great since it’s a good source of protein, and with her picky diet she needs everything she can get!

So today for our snack I whipped out the Greek yogurts.  Both looked exactly alike but I found that when stirring the Chobani Fruit on the Bottom yogurt, it was slightly thicker than Yoplait’s yogurt.

Then it was time to try them out!  We started with Yoplait…

I only took photos of Mabel eating since I figured she was a lot cuter stuffing her face than I am.  🙂

Mabel seemed to really enjoy Yoplait’s Greek yogurt.  I thought it was good but found it to be pretty sweet.  The consistency also didn’t strike me a Greek style…seemed pretty comparable to regular yogurt, but nothing is wrong with that.  Also there were a decent amount of blueberry bits in Yoplait’s yogurt, which Mabel seemed to enjoy.

Then we moved on to Chobani…

After tasting Chobani, I was quickly reminded of why I love Greek yogurt:  it was thicker and also more tart…and I mean that in a good way!  I also found the blueberry taste to be very natural and the flavor wasn’t overpowering or too sweet.  There were plenty of blueberry bits included just like Yoplait’s.  Overall, I found it to be refreshing snack!

Hands down Chobani was my pick when it came to the ‘Taste-Off’.

But Mabel had other plans…

She went back to the Yoplait cup.

And had a little more fun with it than just eating it…she’s such a ham!

Even though Chobani was my favorite, Mabel decided she wasn’t going to agree with me and she picked Yoplait.  🙂
