Stitch Fix #11

It’s Stitch Fix time!  It’s been forever since I actually documented a fix…most boxes I get, I’m either too short on time to get photos or too lazy.

And I kinda took the lazy way out on this one too…just taking photos of the clothes.  I cheated…sorry!  I prefer seeing Stitch Fix posts with people actually modeling the clothes since it gives me the idea of what a real person looks like wearing it, but oh well.  This is as good as it’s going to get until we get moved and unpacked!  😉

As far as my past Stitch Fix boxes have gone…this one was pretty quirky but fun too!

So let’s start with the dress:

June Stitch Fix #11 Prato Sleeveless Dress by Sanctuary

The Prato Sleeveless Dress from Sanctuary was a gorgeous curve hugging blue number!  The back was a low scoop and fit nicely…very comfy too!  But in the end, I couldn’t justify keeping it since with moving I don’t see anytime in the near future that I’ll get to wear it.  I sent it back.

The last four pieces are tops…which I specifically asked for light and breezy tops since I know South Carolina is going to be HOT!

June Stitch Fixe #11 Nina Back-Zip Colorblock Blouse by C.Luce

I wanted to love this C.Luce Nina Back-Zip Colorblock Blouse since the colors were so fun and vibrant.  But upon putting it on, it was very boxy on me and reminded me of the tops marathon runners wear, lol.  And we all know this momma isn’t running any marathons!  I sent it back.

June Stitch Fix #11 Avicci Colorblock Stripe Knit Shirt

This little top deceived me at first.  I thought it looked like a masculine muscle top…I almost didn’t try it on because of that!  But after putting on this Avicci Colorblock Stripe Knit Shirt from Olive & Oak I was pleasantly surprised!  It wasn’t wasn’t a complete tank…the sleeves are actually tiny cap sleeves that covered my shoulders and it looked awesome with a pair of skinny jeans.  I kept it!

June Stitch Fix #11 Elmes Striped Button Down Tank Top by Loveappella

This was another shirt that I was unsure of when I took it out the box…this Elmes Striped Button Down Tank Top was very simple and unassuming.  But once getting it on, it was so soft and comfortable that I changed my mind.  The buttons and stripes complemented the shirt nicely and I loved the mint color.  I kept it!

Lastly…

June Stitch Fix #11 Burgdorf Diamond Printed Henley Blouse

For some reason, I was in love with this shirt right out of the box…which was funny since normally I would say this is soooo not me.  The Burgdorf Diamond Printed Henley Blouse by Fun2Fun did look a little too fancy for my everyday life…but then I realized there were buttons on the side of the arms to make the sleeves 3/4.  And this completely changed the look to casual chic!  I paired it with some skinny jeans and nude heels and there was no way I could sent it back.  I kept it!

Overall this box was a success and I was really happy with it.  I tried on clothes that I thought I would hate and ended up loving them…so that just goes to show me not to judge a book (or a shirt!) by its cover.  😉

Curious to how Stitch Fix works?  Read my first ever post on Stitch Fix since its got all the details…and if you’re interested, you can see all of my past boxes here.

What do you think of my fix?  Don’t worry, I won’t be offended if you hate what I kept.  😉

Have you gotten a recent fix?  Leave the link for me in the comments section since I’d love to see what you got, what you kept, and what you sent back!

I’ve only ever gotten one box, and I wish I had budgeted enough money to buy almost all the things in my box! ( I got a necklace that was too pricey for me, so I don’t think I’ll get jewelry again.)

I don’t know how you feel about it, but I really like seeing how much the pieces all cost as well, it can give people a better idea about how much they may spend.

I love everything in your box except for the color block tank. Hope your move goes smoothly!

That’s a good idea and I don’t know why I haven’t included the prices before! I can’t fix them on this one since I already threw out my price list but I’ll start with the next box. 🙂 And I have the same thought on the jewelry…I’m not much of a jewelry person to begin with so I actually have it marked on my fixes not to send me any.

I think I really like the Avicci Colorblock Stripe Knit Shirt. Do you have a photo of it on you by chance? I’d love to see how it looks on someone. Looks like you have a great box to pick out of!
