Whish Body – Get Ready For Summer!

Okay, so I know what you’re thinking…she’s writing about shaving products?

Yep…I totally am.  No shame!  I was first introduced to the Wish Body line from one of my Birchboxes last year and have been in love with them (and purchasing them!) ever since.

Whish sent me over both their Shave Crave and Shave Savour in the Lavender scent (I’ve been purchasing the Blueberry scent up until this point) and was happily surprised.  The Lavender scent was both light and elegant at the same time.  And it was perfect timing since summer is right around the corner and that means exposed legs from shorts and dresses!  😉

Now you might be wondering what makes these products any different than what I can get at the store?

It’s simple = a lot!  First off…the entire line is all natural.  Have you looked at the ingredients in your current shaving cream?  I suggest you take a peek and you might find some ingredients you wouldn’t be too thrilled about.  The Whish Body line doesn’t have any parabens, is sulfate free, petrochemical free, TEA and DEA free.  Since I’ve been all about trying to reduce the amount of yucky chemicals I have in my life, Whish has helped me take one more step in accomplishing that!

It’s not a foam…it’s a super silky cream.  I have really sensitive skin, so foams tend to dry my legs out horribly whereas the Shave Crave cream is amazingly hydrating (plus a little bit goes a long way!).

I’m new to the Shave Savour (hair inhibiting gel)…I’ve been religiously using Whish’s shaving cream before this post so I had high hopes for something new.  This gel is a moisturizer that I put on after shaving my legs and was impressed with how quickly it soaked in.  No greasy feeling or residue, just a nice hydrated silky feel.  I’m a new fan of the Shave Savor!  And as and added bonus, the gel can also be used on your skin after a long day out in the sun.
