Levana Sophia Video Monitor Review and Giveaway

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Levana. The opinions and text are all mine.

I am the parent that still stalks my toddler on a video monitor…and by ‘stalks‘ I mean lovingly keeps an eye on her. 😉 Nothing beats being able to take a peek into her room through a monitor without waking her just to make sure she’s okay…and gives my worrisome brain peace of mind.

We were lucky enough to try out Levana’s Sophia Video Monitor this past week and I have to admit, it’s got all the features of a more expensive monitor we had been using in the past. Clocking in at only $79.99 it boasts a ton of features that most video monitors at that price range don’t have!

The camera itself can be battery operated or plugged into the wall and has a microphone/speaker so that you can hear and talk to your little one. Mabel’s camera is set up on her dresser (with the cord safely secured where she cannot reach it) and if that’s not your thing, the camera can actually be mounted on to the wall. The camera felt really solidly made and was also easy for me to manually move/angle to get the best view of Mabel’s bed.

Now, let me show you the monitor.

I’m a huge fan of the yellow color (come on, who doesn’t love a novelty like this?) since most monitors are just white or black. Upon first seeing the monitor, Mabel thought it was a phone and kept saying “hello…hello!!” into it. Anyway…the buttons were really easy to use (no thumb mashing at all!) and the color screen was super clear. During the day the view is in color and once the room you are viewing is dark, it kicks into night vision and is still very clear! I really like that it also has a temperature gauge on screen (so I can tell if her room is too hot or too cold) and even has a LED volume indicator at the top of the monitor (you can see the little green light at the top of the photo above).

Lastly, with another little baby on the way early next year…I’m super thrilled that this monitor system will allow me to hook up another 3 cameras (4 total) and be able to flip back and forth through them on the handheld monitor. That way I can check in on each child easily with one monitor system!

Overall, I was really impressed with this video monitor! It packs a lot of bang for your buck and truly has a lot of features that I love as a parent. If you’re in the market for a new baby monitor, really consider adding this one to your list!

Seriously, nothing helps me to sleep better at night knowing that Mabel is happy and sleeping well on her own too. 🙂

Levana has been awesome enough to allow me to help host a giveaway for a new Sophia Video Monitor.
