The Past Two Weeks

The past two weeks = in photos.

Because life has pretty much owned me lately…photos are just easier with a tiny bit of elaboration.  Not to mention there are just some weeks (or possibly a month) where it’s nice to just enjoy life and be boring with nothing exceptionally worthy of posting on the blog.  😉

So here we go…last week we went to Myrtle Beach for the first time.

North Beach Plantation Myrtle Beach

It was a spur of the moment trip, we booked on HotWire so it was a surprise when it came to finding out what hotel we got (we ended up with North Beach Plantation), and it was just nice to get away for a few days with the girls and my husband.

We went to Wonder Works, the aquarium, ate some great food, and of course took Mabel to a giant candy store.

Upon arriving back home…I got myself in gear again and started running again.  With the insane heat gone, I can tolerate it.  Plus with the Disney World Marathon Weekend in January on the horizon, training needed to start asap!

I doing walk/run interval training.  It’s the easiest way for me to build my endurance…I’m slow as molasses but it’ll get better.  I’m currently doing 3 miles every other day.

Millie is always so serious…not to mention her hair is out of control.

We put her to bed with damp hair and this is what she woke up to.  We were running late to get Mabel to school that morning, soooo off we went.  The teacher who got Mabel out of my car must think I’m crazy…

And finally, we had family photos yesterday.  These were the outfits I chose for everyone:

Everything above is from Old Navy with the exception of my husband’s outfit.  Easy peasy and nothing broke the bank.  Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed the photos came out alright because of course Miss Serious (Millie), decided she didn’t want to smile at all, lol!

ahhh Myrtle Beach!! We love it there. My husband was born there, I grew up going there every summer, and we go every Thanksgiving! (Can’t wait to go next month!) How did you like it? Do you live close by? I’m from North Carolina, living in S.Korea…for another 2 weeks then moving to Georgia. And I love the outfits you chose for your family pictures. We are in desperate need of some family pics! 🙂
