Morning Glow Celebration

This post was created as part of a relationship in which I was sponsored by Weight Watchers to share my experiences. Though I was compensated for my time and commitment, all views, positive and negative, are my own. Their new program Beyond the Scale, a holistic approach with more ways than ever for you to personalize your program, define your success and guide you on your road to healthier living. #WWsponsored

Last week I talked about how I’m determined to be healthier in 2016…and most importantly to realize that my health is more than just a number on a scaleIt’s a new year and a fresh start and clean slate are waiting for me!

So in the spirit of helping ring in the new year with optimism and determination, we threw a little Morning Glow celebration at our house this past weekend!  I mean, what better way is there to welcome a healthy start and to say goodbye to all the holiday food I indulged in?!

There was some funny and spastic dancing with glow sticks, some good (and healthy!) food and a lot of laughs.  And if you’re wondering, the party included my husband, my two little girls and myself.  🙂  I figured this would be a great way to be a good role model to my kids about making good choices, being healthy and celebrating simply loving who I am.

I’m pretty sure I was glowing for the rest of the day (and Mabel was too!).

And after having a wonderful weekend, I’m pretty excited to start the new, more holistic Weight Watchers today.  I’m going to be eating better with the recipes WW provides, being more active at every chance I can with some of their simple suggestions, and I’ll be taking care of myself as a whole.

I’ve been way overdue for living this way…

I’m excited for a change, for a healthier and happier self, and for an even better me.

Cheers to a great beginning in 2016!
