This is me with my husband after hiking up Eagle’s Peak in Colorado Springs.  We were still dating in this picture and I remember this day well.  It was a brutal hike (at least I thought it was) and I only pushed through it since I didn’t want him to think I was a wuss.  He later told me that he was impressed and didn’t think I was going to make it to the top but I proved him wrong!  Brownie points for me!

Anyway, he’s the one in the Air Force and I’m very proud of him!  We got married at the USAFA’s (United States Air Force Academy) chapel in April 2011 in Colorado Springs and then moved later that summer halfway across the country to Delaware (Dela-Where??? Haha!).  Now, a little more than a year after our wedding we are still early into marriage and first time parents.  I couldn’t have picked a better man to live my life with!
