In a medium bowl, mix together flour, salt and baking soda. Then add/mix in cornflake crumbs. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat softened butter, sugar and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Then, mix in vanilla and eggs. Finally, add in dry ingredients until mixed completely.
Stir in semi sweet chocolate chips.
Drop tablespoon size dollop of batter (don't be tempted to go larger...these cookies spread out!) onto an ungreased cookie sheet (these are my favorite cookie sheets that never burn the bottoms).
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet and then moved to a wire rack to finish cooling.
