Oh Mabel! Adding Vintage Pieces to the Nursery

You all know I’ve been all about making Mabel’s nursery eclectic and unique.  I love antique and vintage things, so naturally I was drawn to find older things to decorate her room with.  Two sites that I’ve been frequenting a lot are Etsy and Ebay.  I had always thought of Etsy as a place just to find handmade goodies but was surprised to find that a lot of sellers have antique pieces on there.  Also, I’ve found that there are a lot of times better deals on items on Etsy than Ebay!  Who would have thought!  If I can’t find it on Etsy…then I can for sure find it on Ebay.

So, here is the first piece that I bought for Mabel’s room:

Oh Mabel - Vintage Sheet Music

This is actually old sheet music from the 1920’s!  And it has her name on it (double bonus!).  I found it on Ebay and paid around $10 bucks for it (that included shipping too).  I’m going to frame it and it’s going on the wall.  I plan on having a wall with a variety of different sized art framed above the dresser.  Also, I just l happened to luck out that the color it’s printed in actually goes with the colors in the nursery.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to finding old or vintage things…it just takes forever to find them!  🙂

Lol, my friend said the same thing but wait until you see the whole thing first! It might turn out to be an eclectic mess! 🙂
