Grow Boldly – Welcome to Toddlerhood

There’s no preparing yourself to be a parent of a toddler. These tiny little humans have their own language, their own way of doing things, and most importantly, a sense of determination that will let them take down anything in their way (possibly you included). They have their own initiation plans for you as their parent…and the only thing you can get ready for is cleaning up. Come on, you know the word toddler also means ‘little mess creating tornado’.
Babyganics #GrowBoldly Yep, that’s my messy little gal. 😉

My little tornado, I mean toddler, is the queen of exploring and getting into things. Mabel gets this look of awe on her face when she experiences something new for the first time that I really love getting to witness (well, I love seeing most of the new experiences…there have been a few I could have lived without, lol!). But all joking aside, it truly is inspiring as a parent to be able to give her the chance to freely discover what her new world has to offer, even if it means there is a mess that follows.

Here are my toddlerhood facts that I’ve come across over the past few months along with some Babyganics cleanup suggestions that I’m currently loving:

Toddlerhood Fact #1 = Life is dirty. I mean honestly, what two year old doesn’t love getting dirty? Grow boldly, explore, get dirty, and clean it up with Babyganics’ Toy & Highchair Cleaner Spray. It’s non-toxic and doesn’t need to be rinsed…win/win situation here = more time for you and less time spent cleaning up!

Toddlerhood Fact #2 = There will be sticky little fingers everywhere. And I mean everywhere…in your home, on your windows, and when you’re out and about. I’m talking about when you give your kid a snack in the car and then go to get out and realize it’s all over your kid’s face, hands, and probably your car window too. Stock up on Face, Hand & Baby Wipes…you’ll need a never ending amount. I love the smaller packs since they are easy to stick in my purse for on the go!

Toddlerhood Fact #3 = Toddlers eat and drink a lot. You know what that means? You as the parent wash a heck of a lot of sippy cups, dishes, and those cute little spoons and forks because your toddler is a huge fan of trying new foods. I’ve always been picky about what I clean my toddler’s utensils and cups with, and if you are too, I suggest you take a peek at Babyganics’ Citrus Foaming Dish & Bottle Soap! The scent it light, doesn’t dry my hands out, and doesn’t leave any residue.

Toddlerhood Fact #4 = Little hands touch a lot of things that make you go ewww! Yep, you know, when your toddler grabs the porta-potty seat at county fair…yeah that happened. I’m going to hope Mabel learned her lesson when she heard me gasp ‘noooo’ and the mortified look on my face thinking about all the germs that were crawling all over her hands. Good thing I had some Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer! Safe to say she got foamed and smelled like a fresh orange. 😉

Toddlerhood Fact #5 = Baths are fun. Since getting dirty isn’t fun enough, you gotta top the day off with a daily bath to get the rest of your toddler clean. My little explorer gets squeaky cleaned and then gets her delicate skin moisturized with some Chamomile Verbena Baby Lotion. I’m guilty of borrowing it too…hey, pregnant ladies need moisturized skin too.

I love the hand sanitizer! I keep a bottle in my purse, diaper bag, and car at all times. It’s a perfect safe solution when we’re on the go!

I think that the Alcohol Free Mandarin Hand Sanitizing Wipes would be perfect for my children and I! I would keep them in my car to instantly sanitize my older two childrens hands as soon as they are done with school, before we come into the house. I’d also keep them in the diaper bag for quick clean ups.. you never know when you’re going to need a quick hand wash when you have 3 little ones 🙂 I also love that they are alcohol free, so that if they have any scrapes on their hands or fingers, the wipes won’t burn!

I would love the hand sanitizer. I have followed your journey off of Youtube and we were pregnant together. My daughter was born 3 days after Mabel. 🙂

I would love to try the alcohol-free foaming hand sanitizer refill that is also fragrance free, I have sensitive skin and so does my baby so this would be awesome.

Since winter is coming up, I’d like to try out the moisturizing daily lotion for my daughter. Winters don’t get too cold here in California, but the air does get pretty dry especially because we’re in a drought. Thanks!

I do not have children, but I am someone who, as an adult, uses kids stuff like this ALL the time! I love it because it is gentle and I have sensitive skin. ANYWAY, I would love to try the night time shampoo + body wash, orange blossom!

  12. Ashley Tucker says:

I think the shampoo + body wash, chamomile verbena will be great! I’m expecting and actually put this on my baby registry recently.

  13. Ellie Wright says:

The wipes for my 6 week old granddaughter, and the hand sanitizer for my grandsons. I want to avoid germs, but not at the expense of harsh chemicals.
