Mamaroo? Should We Buy One?

Have you seen the Mamaroo?  I had just found out about these a few weeks ago and none of my friends had heard of it.  But this is what it is:

 It basically takes the place of a bouncer and a swing for baby.  It has 5 motions that range from Ocean Wave, Rock-a-bye, Car Ride, Tree Swing and KangaRoo.  The company, 4moms prides itself on the fact that the Mamaroo moves just like parents do (swaying and rocking), unlike a vibrating bouncer or normal swing.  The Mamaroo also has several natural sounds you can play while baby is enjoying the ride and you can also has plugs for your iPod/iPhone or other mp3 player.  I love the technology!  Last major bonus…it plugs into the wall so there are no batteries required!  Sounds pretty convincing to me.  They have a movie that shows the how it works on their site:  The Mamaroo.

The only thing that’s holding me back from buying it is the price.  It’s more than a ‘traditional’ baby swing and since we live in a smaller town, there is no place to test it out or play with it before buying.  So for now, I’m debating buying it but am still on the fence.  If I get one, I’ll for sure review for you ladies and give you the low-down!  😉
