PolkaDaisy Review and Giveaway

As you might have seen on Facebook a few days back, I posted a picture of my new favorite necklace.

My PolkaDaisy Two Tag Necklace – Mabel’s Name and Birth Date

Yep, that’s it!  It’s gorgeous, isn’t it?  And it has special meaning because on one tag it says: Mabel.  And on the other it has her birth date: 2/14/12.  And to top it off, the necklace has two Swarovski crystals…a purple one for Mabel’s birthstone and a red one to represent Valentine’s Day, since she was born on that day.

My necklace was created by Michelle over at PolkaDaisy.

Michelle from PolkaDaisy

Ironically, after exchanging a few emails back and forth, Michelle and I discovered that we actually had taught together in the same school district a couple of years ago.  What a small world!  Anyway, back to the jewelry…each item is hand-stamped, which I love since no two pieces are exactly alike.  And you can find more than just necklaces at PolkaDaisy…they have hand-stamped bracelets and key chains too.

I was moved by Michelle’s story.  Her first creation was a necklace in remembrance of the loss of her unborn child in 2009.  The necklace read, “I’ll hold you in Heaven”.  Because of this event, she decided to pair with the Life Care Center, a Christian based organization that gives pregnant women counseling, support, and helps them with their struggles when they don’t have a lot of options.  Michelle donates $1 for every necklace sold to the Life Care Center in order to support their mission.

PolkaDaisy is a small husband and wife business with amazing customer service.  I love when I can support smaller businesses where I know that they truly care about my whole experience with them.  Michelle went out of her way to help me out and make sure that I would be happy with all of my personalization choices!

Michelle has been nice enough to let Modern Mommyhood do a giveaway (open to everyone no matter where you live!)!  And the winner will get their choice between two of PolkaDaisy’s most popular necklaces:

Two Tag Necklace from PolkaDaisy
Katie’s Necklace by PolkaDaisy

Each necklace is completely customizable…from the writing to the color crystals.   Katie’s Necklace is great for those who have several kiddos!  And the Two Tag necklace is great for those with one or two children (you don’t have to have a date put on one tag).  Don’t have kids?  Then you could put your husband’s name and maybe the date you met or got married!  Possibilities are endless!

Ready to win one of your own?

This giveaway is open to anyone 18 years or older no matter where you live.

*Also, please be honest on your entries.  I will check to make sure you’ve completed everything that you said you did.*

a Rafflecopter giveaway

*I was given a Two Tag necklace to review.  All opinions are completely honest and my own.  I would never post a review of a product if I didn’t truly love it!  : ) *

I absolutely love both necklaces. Both are lovely. I think I like the two tag one the best, however. It’s so different and quite unique. I am a (fairly) new Momma to a 21 month old – and hope to add to my brood next year when my hubby returns from Afghanistan! Olivia’s birthday is September 7, 2010 and her birthstone is sapphire. I am in need of a new necklace and would LOVE to add Polkadaisy to my collection! Thanks for this wonderful oppurtunity!
