And I must say, “I’m lovin’ it!”
Hmm…not only did I just use a song reference, I used a massive fast food chain’s slogan.

But back to the stroller and car seat system…we have been in love with RECARO car seats ever since we got one for Mabel when she was able to transition out of her infant seat (so much so that we bought one for each of our cars) and RECARO was kind enough to send over their new Performance Denali Travel System for us to try out.

The Performance Denali Travel System includes both the Performance Coupe infant car seat (car base is included) and the Performance Denali stroller.  We used the car seat to bring Millie home from the birth center and compared to another brand we used when Mabel was an infant, I was very impressed with how protected I felt that Millie was (not to mention I loved the vibrant pink color 😉 ).

The car seat itself is made with temperature balanced fabrics, twist resistant harness technology, racing inspired side impact protection, and cloud comfort memory foam…pretty neat!  I felt assured that not only would Millie be safe when traveling in her car seat, she’d be comfy too!

The great thing about the Performance Coupe car seat is that it easily pops into the Denali Stroller for walks or distances that you would prefer not to carry just the seat:

Basically all you have to do is lower the food tray and pop the seat into place (you’ll hear it click/lock into place).  And note the large storage space below the stroller…it’s been great for storing all my stuff, from my large camera to my even larger diaper bag.  😉

I would say this stroller is best for flat locations but I was able to fairly easily maneuver it outside on unpaved surfaces.

And when put to the test during our walk the other day, it definitely held its own!

Standard Mabel face…

The stroller itself holds children up to 50 pounds.  Mabel fits in there perfectly and even with long legs, you’ll see that she still has plenty of room.  There is also a lot of head room left for her.  I also love the roomy canopy that has UV SPF 50+ protection and a water repellant coating.  Mabel’s favorite part:  the food tray, which has a cup holder (perfect for sippys!) and a large space for snacks or toys.  Other things that I’m really enjoying about the stroller is the cup holder by the handle of the stroller for me and the fact that the stroller reclines easily for Mabel if she gets tired.

    Great review! I love that they came out with an infant seat and stroller! We have the ProRide and ProSport and LOVE them! If we won this set for our next baby, I think if have to go with the Indigo.. it’s beautiful!
