The Pinterest Addiction

I am an addict…I’m hooked on Pinterest.  And I’m not ashamed!  When Mabel is asleep and if I’m not sewing, you can probably find me on Pinterest.

Lately I’ve been trying to catch my inner domestic goddess (I know she has be in there somewhere) by trying new recipes…some which have flown high while others have crashed and burned.  But I celebrate the fact that I’m at least trying.  Being organized and the queen of clean is a whole other story…

But the past few days I’ve been using Pinterest in a new way…finding quotes that speak to me.  Some are funny and some are heavy.  I’ve been trying to find my voice lately and I’ve been drawing a lot of inspiration from little quotes and sayings that I’ve been finding.

Found this quote by Mae West and loved it.  Lately I’ve felt blessed with the love that I feel all around me but admit that things have been moving so fast that I don’t feel like I’ve been able to soak it all in.  I need to remember to slow down and enjoy the moment rather than constantly hurrying to try to get to where I want to be.

And just for laughs…I pinned this last night and it so true, isn’t it?

Everyone knows someone who is guilty of this crime…lol!  I can’t stand it…just come out and say what you’re thinking or don’t say it at all.

I found your fun blog by way of you linking to TMH with an image above, and I just had to comment to say oh dear. Just when I thought I was finished having babies! Your Mabel is adorable.
And that last image – my sister in law. Drives me insane!
So happy to have found your blog, it’s lovely.

Hi Destri! I hope you don’t mind me using it. 🙂 I found it on Pinterest and linked back to the exact location. It’s such a random way to have found your blog, but I love it. Lots of really neat and interesting tutorials. Can’t wait to try some new things out!
