A Dash of Random

As the quote in the photo above says, “Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful”…and how true is that?  My life has been full of imperfections and quirks that have made it what it is…and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.

I’m also made up of a ton of random things that make me who I am and I figured I might share some of those things. Maybe you can even relate to a few?

• I’ve come to the realization that the closer I get to 30 and that I still don’t know how to fold fitted sheets or perfect ‘hospital corners’ when making the bed like my mother, that I probably never will be able to.
• When people tap on the back of my chair with their feet (like at a movie theater), it drives me absolutely nuts.
• I have a strange obsession with s’mores made in the microwave.
• My current ringtone on my phone is the theme to Downton Abbey.
• I love British accents.
• One of the most dreadful things in my life is trying to tackle my pugs so that I can clip their nails.
• I wear a size 9.5 shoe.
• I once purposely failed an eye exam in elementary school because my best friend and I wanted to wear little circular framed glasses like Molly had from the American Girl Dolls.
• I’ve never gotten a speeding ticket but I did back into a 7 Eleven sign and dent my bumper.
• I’m embarrassed when someone likes my ‘Candy Crush’ progress on FB because it makes me look like I have nothing better to do with my time.
• My thumbs are double jointed and when I show people I get a lot of ‘ewwws!’.
• It’s been about a year since I went and got a pedicure…I’m soooo overdue.
• Reality shows are a weakness of mine.
• I get claustrophobic really easily.
• My full name is completely unisex…I would get invites to join the Boy Scouts when I was younger since they thought having the name Morgan meant I was a boy.  Ugh.
