It’s Been Three Years

It’s been three years since I married this wonderful man.

And of course what better excuse do I have to look through all of our wedding photos than on our anniversary?

It also gives me time to reflect on everything that led up to our marriage and everything that’s happened to make our marriage what it is today (I tried not to get all sappy on you guys!):

I’m thankful I took the plunge and signed up on eHarmony (no shame there!).  We were matched within three days of me signing up and within a week of him signing up.  I like to think it was meant to be.  🙂

Got engaged in ten months on my birthday.

Got married after a year and two months.

Married at the USAFA Cadet Chapel since my hubby is an alum, plus the chapel is flat out gorgeous.

We spent our first three months of marriage in Colorado and then moved to Delaware.

In the first year of marriage we bought a house together and had a baby within twelve months (I got pregnant with Mabel a month after we were married for those of you wondering, lol!).

The second year of marriage was a quiet one…which was a good thing!  Just enjoyed soaking up our little family.

The third year was filled with a deployment.  Not fun but it’s part of the military life.

And now that we are headed towards the fourth year…we have another move in-store for us to South Carolina.  I’m excited to see what we have ahead of us and am just forever thankful for being lucky enough to have met my husband when I did.  He’s added so much to my life, a companion and best friend, not to mention an amazing father.

Here’s to three years and many more on the horizon!
