Mabel’s 3 1/2 Month Update – Still Hates Tummy Time
Here’s Mabel’s 3 1/2 month update…crazy hair and all!
Yep, like I said in the vlog, she hates tummy time and I’m not forcing her to do it. I feel that when she’s ready to be on her tummy…she’ll do it. 🙂 We do other activities to work on her neck muscles such as being held (without us supporting her neck) and sitting in her Bumbo seat. Her neck muscles are supporting her head just fine and she doesn’t have a flat head. So for all of you other mommas out there stressin’ about your babies hating tummy time…don’t worry, your baby will be okay!

Sawyer hates tummy time, too. When I lay her down, it just makes her mad. Sometimes I lay her on my bed on her tummy and shes ok. She holds her head up fine-but is not happy on a playmat whatsoever! They will be fine;-))
My daughter, Penelope, is 3 months and seems to be on the same path as Mabel. She tolerates tummy time, has flipped over a couple times but not consistently. She's been stuffing her fists in her mouth, and pretty much anything else she can get her hands on! she's also a little one, probably weighs about 10 lbs. And she has the same crabby outfit. She is not blessed with any hair though, I've got a little blonde baby 😉
i miss tummy time, some kids more independent than others.
