We’ve had fun exploring shapes and colors with Playskool as a part of a sponsored post for Socialstars! And as always, you wouldn’t see it on this blog if we didn’t genuinely love the products! #PLAYSKOOLCREW
My girls…
I can’t tell you how much joy it brings me to see them playing together.
I surprised them a few days ago with the Playskool Pop Up Shape Sorter and Mabel couldn’t wait to show my her shape sorting skills…Millie once again just wanted to slobber all over the shapes (but hey, that’s how babies learn so do your thang Miss Millie! 😉 )
And this momma is all about practical toys that are educational, can be taken on the go, and that store well (because we all know we don’t need anymore toys with a million pieces that are hard to put away).
Here is the adorable shape sorter kitty in store-and-go mode:
The pieces are all tucked in and you can carry it by the tail which is also the handle.
And here is shape sorter kitty all ready to go:
The middle part pops out like an accordion, the shapes can be sorted and dropped in (and easily removed again by a door underneath the kitty). Also note that each shape can come apart into two smaller pieces which helps your kiddos with matching and coordination!
Mabel was an old pro at sorting so I quizzed her on the colors and counting!
Mabel decided Millie (or Mullie as she calls her…seriously, I have no idea why) needed to get in on the learning action too.
“Here Mullie….here’s a pink heart!”…Millie just stared at her and then cracked a smile when she picked up the heart.
“And you can have a yellow star too” Mabel told her.
Such warm and fuzzies!
I can’t get enough of it! 🙂
Anything that can keep Mabel entertained while learning is a major plus with me! Not to mention it was super cute watching her try to teach Millie, who just absolutely adored her big sister now matter what they are doing together.
Have fun!
