Our 3 Step Bedtime Routine

Daylight savings time ends…on November 1st.
Make a mental note…fall = fall back, so I won’t complain with gaining an extra hour.  😉

And you know what ALWAYS seems to happen when the time changes those pesky two times a year?  My kids’ sleep always gets messed up.  So we’re trying something a bit different this year…an actual 3 step bedtime routine.

It’s surprisingly simple:

  • Step 1 -Draw a warm bath for your little one(s) and add a dash of JOHNSON’S®  baby BEDTIME®  bubble bath and wash.  Mabel is a huge fan of bubbles…and Millie is well on her way to loving them too!

  • Step 2 – After your little one is done with their bath, give them a calming massage with JOHNSON’S®  baby BEDTIME®  lotion.  The scent is divine and the neat thing about the bedtime products is that they release NATURALCALM® essences – a special blend of gentle and calming aromas to help soothe your little ones!

  • Step 3 – Do a quiet activity with your little one…we like reading books and that’s what we’ve found works best to relax Mabel.  Now if you’re curious to where Millie is…she had already fallen asleep, lol.  Right after she was lotioned up, she dozed off.  She didn’t even need step three.  😉

And as you can see in the photo, both Mabel and her Daddy enjoy the quiet step/step 3.  Not only is it the perfect way to wind-down, it’s a great way to bond and develop a love of reading.
