Just what a woman in the postpartum period needs…sweets and Vaseline® lip moisturizer. More so the lip moisturizer…I’m soooo dry due to breastfeeding (I’m just speaking the truth), it’s not even funny! Cracked lips are completely miserable, ugh.
Vaseline® sent over a Valentine’s Day surprise and I couldn’t have been happier. And Mabel couldn’t have been happier either (crazy hair and all)…
Okay so like I said earlier with being dry due to my new mommyhood duties, I’ve been living with lip balm in my diaper bag, on my night stand, and a few mini jars of Vaseline® Lip Therapy® Rosy Lips tucked all around the house for emergency use! And Miss Mabel has been known to steal them here and there…how do you keep a toddler out of your lip moisturizer?! But at $2.29 at the local drugstore, I can afford to get more, ha!
In addition to the standard packaging, Kitson is selling a limited edition jar bejeweled with European crystals for $45.
I might just be a little partial since Mabel is my Valentine’s Day baby and this jar has a heart adorned on the lid.
Understandably, while having a newborn and a toddler, I haven’t been able to follow my normal beauty routine…so that means finding quicker alternatives in order for me to get out the door. I’m sure the pediatrician really doesn’t care what I look like but I always think it’s nice to do something for myself that lets me feel human again. So with a little bit of mascara and some Rosy Lips moisturizing lip therapy, I feel a little more put together. 🙂 I honestly really like how it’s not sticky but super moisturizing, adds a bit of pink color to my lips and has a combo or rose/vanilla and berry scent (light and fresh, nothing I find to be too strong or overpowering).
