Taming the Tangles

That child has a ton of hair.
More hair than I do.  And yes, I’m insanely jealous.
She’s also missing a tooth (I know some of you probably still don’t know the story so here you go)

But with all that hair comes tons of tangles.  And you mommas with kiddos who have hair long enough to tangle…you know the struggle is real.

With our bath routine, it’s all about cleansing, nourishing, and then styling (she’s not going to prom but I don’t need her preschool teacher thinking she looks like she’s being raised by wolves, lol!)

I’ve always known about JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® detangling spray and it’s been a staple in our house…little did I know that there were other products to help this mother out!

First, there’s JOHNSON’S® shampoo & conditioner for thin/straight hair (there is also one for thick/curly hair but we use the thin/straight since the majority of Mabel’s hair is straight).

And following the shampoo, we use JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® leave-in conditioner.

I’ve been out of the loop because I didn’t know this stuff existed…and it’s awesome.  It’s hydrating and helps Mabel’s hair to be less prone to tangles!  AND if you’re wondering, it’s lightweight and doesn’t leave any residue or stickiness…so if your kiddo has very fine hair, it won’t weigh it down.

Finally, our favorite:  JOHNSON’S® NO MORE TANGLES® detangling spray.  It can help get any knot out…even those massive ones that you have no clue how your kid created in the first place.

Then I put my husband to work.

He’s been perfecting his brushing skills and with both the leave in conditioner and detangling spray, there’s been no more crying and complaining from Miss Mabel.  🙂
