Week 18 – Sweet Potatoes and Peacocks

What?!  Sweet potatoes and peacocks…don’t worry, I’ll explain.  I’m officially 18 weeks today and Baby Girl is the size of a sweet potato.  Take a look for yourself:
Taken from www.thebump.com It’s a great site for info but I’m not a fan of their message boards.
Wow!  Baby Girl is 5.6 inches, her reproductive organs are forming, hair is starting to grow, ears are in the appropriate place…and she’s moving a lot!  I’ll agree with the movement, I feel her frequently! 🙂
Now, on to the peacocks.  You all are probably incredibly tired of hearing me talk about nursery inspirations/paint but this is the last inspiration!  I promise!  This is it:
www.animalplanet.com
So many beautiful colors!  I think I’ve found what I’m basing the nursery off.  Lol, you should also know by now I’m not horribly traditional…but I really think I can pull this off and it will be elegant at the same time.  Main colors: green, yellow, gold, turquoise, and blue.  I also think I will add a vintage twist to it.  I’m either going to have to stalk ebay or go to yard sales to find some things, but I’m up for the challenge.  🙂

Lol, thanks!! We bought the paint so there is no turning back! I'll post pictures as soon as I get the room painted. I'm hoping to start tomorrow! 🙂
