How Babies Say ‘I Love You’

I used JOHNSON’S® for my little one and for myself as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #johnsonspartners #SoMuchMore

Soaking in the wondrous baby stares.

Okay, so babies can’t talk and can’t exactly tell you that they love you…but there are plenty of other ways that they can express it.  I melt every morning when I wake up to Millie cooing and smiling at me.  And in addition to flashing those big baby gums of hers, she lets me know through her touch.

Nuzzling into my neck as she falls asleep.

Touching my face while looking at me.

Stroking my arm as she nurses.

I’m mushy even thinking about it.  More than words…cue the song from 1990 (that song is gonna be stuck in your head for the rest of the day…you’re welcome).

And in all honesty, actions do speak louder than words.  I not only tell my children that I love them but I show it by how I take care of them.  Millie gets babied and Mabel still does too.  🙂

In addition to showing my kiddos that I love them through touch…it’s important to remember to love myself too!  I have to take some me time and baby myself because all too often I put myself behind everyone else.  Hey, a happy momma is the best momma!  So I’m occasionally guilty of borrowing some of the girls’ products for myself….shhhh!

I really love the scent of JOHNSON’S® Vanilla Oatmeal moisture wash and moisture lotion so it’s perfect for unwinding after a long day.  And I also absolutely think JOHNSON’S® baby oil gel with shea and cocoa butter is a must have for after shaving my legs.  Quick fact = shaving with baby oil gives you a closer shave AND prolongs the life of your razor.  😉  Great for perfect summer legs!

All the apologies in the world for my blindingly white legs…

So whether you’re 3 months, 3 years, or 30 years old (well, I’m not quite 30 yet!) love is a language that is conveyed by more than just three words.  And while my babies are still young, I’ll be soaking in as many cuddles and smiles I can get…and occasionally borrowing their bath products.  😉
