Splishin’ and a Splashin’

Mabel’s favorite season = summer.

But honestly, what kid doesn’t love summer or isn’t obsessed with playing in the water?  I pretty much have to live outside with her since she insists on playing at the water table or in the sprinkler.  And of course she has to dress the part!  😉

And because of that, I go to one of my favorite places to get hooked up with all the summer necessities: Target.  The Target Baby section has a huge variety of swimsuits that are adorable!  And of course affordable!

While at the store the other day we let Mabel pick out a swimsuit of her choice.  She picked out the swimsuit that you saw at the beginning of this post and I couldn’t resist picking out the matching coverup and sunglasses for a little more sun protection outside (and don’t forget the sunscreen!).

I even grabbed a pair of water shoes for her to wear on the walk to the pool since the concrete can get super hot in South Carolina!  Plus the shoes can be worn at the beach or lake so I know they’ll be used a lot.

And of course we can’t forget Millie!  I was in love with all of the tiny infant swimsuits Target has too.  Lots of colors, styles and ruffles!  😉  Now we all know being a baby is insanely hard so Millie’s ideal summer day involves taking catnaps…

I’m pretty sure aqua and pink are her colors.  🙂

But as for Mabel…there’s no slowing her down.

Back to the water table…

The other swimsuit we bought for her was a two piece tankini (like I said, there are tons of styles so your little one is sure to find something that appeals to them!).

And then to the sprinkler…

The water was a bit chilly so there was some hesitation, lol!

And then finally calling it a day with the coziness of a cute towel.  🙂

Yet another win for me with the help of Target!
