Jelly Stars Quilt Pattern

Get your jelly rolls ready because the Jelly Stars jelly roll quilt pattern has officially launched!

I have been so excited to share this pattern! I’ve had this pattern on the back burner for awhile now since it required a lot of math to plan it out…but I finally tackled it (I should have done it way sooner!) and it’s ready for you to sew up! It’s jelly roll friendly AND includes directions on how to make it with 1/4 yard cuts as well, just in case you want to plan your own fabric combination.

My first Jelly Stars sample was sewn with Reading Nook fabrics by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society. I love this quilt has an altogether boho feel to it! The little adorable cat faces are featured and the pattern is perfect for showing off prints!

Next, I have my rainbow version. The pattern doesn’t include rainbow directions but I’ve given all the info on how I easily modified the pattern (and how you can too!) in this blog post HERE. Jelly Stars has so many possibilities!

I was lucky enough to team up with Francine of Buffalo Flatts Quilt Company for this release and she made her own Jelly Stars quilt + kit! She has her exact same version as a kit that you can snag over in her shop HERE. She has a nice selection of fabrics and she does longarming too! Francine is super sweet so I highly recommend reaching out to her if you’re looking for a longarmer.

It’s the perfect combination of colorful prints and a great version to sew up with spring right around the corner. And look at the quilting! It looks fabulous!

Want even more examples of the Jelly Stars pattern? Well, I’ve got more mockups for you from present and future Ruby Star Society collections:

Jelly Stars in Water by Ruby Star Society.

Jelly Stars in Juicy by Melody Miller for Ruby Star Society.

Jelly Stars in Teddy and the Bears by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society.

And I’ve got one final version to show you from my quilt pattern tester extraordinaire, Haley (of @HappinessInTheMaking)! She used a variety of prints from Ruby Star Society to create this super scrappy version:

I love patterns that work effortlessly with any fabric collection or any combination of fabrics and Jelly Stars is truly one of those patterns. I hope you all love it as much as I do and I can’t wait to see your Jelly Star quilts popping up on Instagram!

You can find the Jelly Stars quilt pattern over in my shop.
