For nature lovers or for festive holidays…the Jelly Trees quilt pattern (jelly roll friendly) has you covered!

Jelly Trees is the fourth pattern in my Jelly Quilt Series of patterns and I hope you love this one just as much as the others…I sure do! And just like the others, this pattern is written for both jelly rolls AND 1/4 yard cuts.
The first version of Jelly Trees that I sewed up is for all the nature, camping, hiking, and outdoorsy people out there! My husband really enjoys hiking and camping (he’s such a fan of National Parks) and has been asking for awhile now for a quilt that could incorporate his love for the outdoors with a more nature based color palette. So this is what I came up with:

I used a variety of prints from past Barbara Brackman collections (Morris Manor and Morris Meadow) from Moda and fell in love with how they all ended up looking together! My husband happily claimed this quilt as his…my youngest said she wanted it too so they compromised and decided they would share it. Makes my heart so happy!
Here’s the mockup that started it all (Morris Manor and Morris Muse):

I love patterns that have more than one look so this quilt not only works in neutrals, it’s perfect to use for holiday/winter/Christmas fabrics as well! I decided to use my Jolly Darlings and Jolly Basics jelly rolls by Ruby Star Society that I’ve had stashed away on my shelf for few years and the outcome was whimsical:

All the prints just look so fun together with a slightly vintage and modern feel to them at the same time!

I know this pattern would look fabulous in traditional holiday colors and prints as well.
So whether you want to create a more nature inspired Jelly Trees version or you’ve got the holidays on your mind, Jelly Trees is a great quilt pattern for this upcoming fall and winter!
