Mornings Made Easy with Fiber One

Preschool just started for Mabel…and the only reason why I’m still having a hard time with it is that it means I have to get my stuff together way earlier in the morning than I have been. I know, I know, go ahead and give me a hard time about that, lol!

But I’m just not a morning person, especially after getting up a handful of times every night to feed the baby. I know in the rush to get everything ready in the mornings, I’m the last one to be taken care of. Millie and Mabel always come first… and then comes myself (oh, the life of being a mom!). So I’m just working on making sure I’m armed with a cup of giant cup of coffee for the drive to school and something to stash in my purse to eat on the way… quickly!

I’ve recently discovered some Fiber One snacks that are perfect for my busy mornings (or honestly, whenever I need a quick bite to eat). The two that I like most for mornings on the go are the Cinnamon Coffee Cakes and Chocolate Chewy Bars. Both contain 20% of your daily value of fiber that you should be eating and they are both only 90 calories. That certainly doesn’t hurt. 😉 And who would say no to a little bit of chocolate or sweet cinnamon in the morning? Not me!

Now I’ll admit that I was a bit skeptical in the first place about what the two snacks would taste like but I was pleasantly surprised! I’ve snacked on them for the past three weeks and was impressed. They are pretty yummy and have also been a useful way to help manage my weight (being that they are lower in calories than other choices I could make, they’ve been a good choice for myself!). They are also pretty filling too…not leaving me hungry or wanting something else to eat right afterwards. If you’re short for time, want a low calorie option, need more fiber, or are just open to trying something new that you can find at any grocery store: Go on. Have one!

I’d love to try the Strawberry Cheesecake Bar. I recently tried the Salted Caramel cheesecake and it would so good. Thanks so much.

There are many items they sell that I think I would enjoy. One in particular would be the Protein Coconut
Almond Chewy Bars. Yum! Perfect combo of coconuts, almonds, and chocolate. Like a healthy Almond Joy! hahaha
