Early Hours Quilt Pattern

Back in October, I released the fat quarter friendly, Early Hours quilt pattern! You can find this pattern waiting for you over in the shop.

We’ve settled into our lives here in South Korea (we’re here though next summer) and I had a lot of fun photographing this quilt around town.

The Early Hours quilt adds yet another pattern to my existing collection of star quilt patterns and this time, I decided to go a bit more modern and geometric with this design! I love being able to put as many fun prints cohesively into one quilt, so this pattern is no exception. Look at all of those pretty Meadow Star fabrics by Alexia Marcelle Abegg for Ruby Star Society! They have a really fun, vintage feel to them and were perfect for this pattern.

Solids give the pattern and even more modern look! The next version of the Early Hours quilt is a baby sized version that I whipped up with Ruby + Bee solids by Windham Fabrics:

And if two samples aren’t enough, here are a few mockups to help you see even more possibilities:

Early Hours quilt in Winter Glow fabrics by Ruby Star Society.
Early Hours quilt in Verbena fabrics by Jen Hewett for Ruby Star Society.
Early Hours quilt in Speckle fabrics by Rashida Coleman-Hale for Ruby Star Society.

You honestly can’t go wrong with any fabric combination for this pattern…it’s just one of those quilts that goes with anything!

If you’re ready to make your own version of the Early Hours quilt, you can find the PDF here.
